Balance@Work was founded to address that in full. The concept is straightforward: bring together the UK’s most authoritative clinical voice on hormone health - from PMS to PMDD and postnatal depression to perimenopause and menopause - with deep, practical experience in workplace learning and organisational change.

Combine that with the technology — through the Balance app — and the clinical infrastructure — through Newson Health — to give women and those around them not just education, but the confidence, tools and solutions to act on it.

Clinical authority no competitor can offer

Balance@Work is co-founded by Dr Louise Newson — the UK’s most prominent hormone health clinician, bestselling author, and creator of the balance app, used by over one million women worldwide. Every programme we deliver carries the weight of that expertise. It is not a badge. It is the foundation everything is built on.

A workplace-focused part of the wider Balance ecosystem
Balance@Work exists to help organisations respond better to hormone health at work. It brings trusted expertise into a workplace setting through education, training, support and accreditation designed for employers, managers and employees.

This is a practical workplace support offer. It is not an app, not a product catalogue and not a pricing-led consultancy site.
Workplaces can do better and people should not have to struggle in silence

We believe hormone health should be understood as part of working life. We believe employees deserve information and support. We believe managers can be compassionate without becoming clinical. We believe employers can create cultures where people feel able to speak. And we believe that meaningful change happens when awareness becomes action.

Project Analyst and Menopause Network Lead

What I can say is there is lots of talk about it at work and has sparked more conversations.  Thanks again to Sarah for an excellent session and to you for making it happen.

HR Strategic Partner & Head of Wellbeing

Sarah delivered an excellent in-depth workshop covering all aspects of the Menopause Journey to a Global Audience at the Women in Nuclear Conference 2025.  The workshop was well researched and interactive with audience participation throughout. We received excellent feedback and would recommend Sarah for her caring approach and knowledgeable delivery. The aim was to showcase the importance of menopause to a Global audience, by starting these conversations this is the first step in advocating for women’s health. Thank you Sarah.

Operational Technology Group Sellafield Ltd

Sarah Davies is an outstanding partner in driving awareness and understanding around women’s health. Through her Line Manager Training, she has helped to demystify and normalise conversations about menopause, creating a more inclusive and supportive workplace culture. Her contribution to our International Women’s Day lunch and learn on women’s health and menopause was equally impactful and engaging, informative, and empowering. Sarah brings expertise, empathy, and clarity to these important topics, making her a trusted and inspiring collaborator.

Head of Operations

A thoroughly informative session and 122 Wates Staff joined the Call, we cannot thank you enough for your passion, drive, commitment to making this impact as just too many suffer in silence or get sent away from a GP Visit.I felt it was an empowering session raising awareness of the 3 separate cases mentioned and how much someone’s life especially Hayley’s can be transformed for the better.

Social Value Manager

Our partnership with Newson Health resulted in an outstanding menopause webinar that exceeded expectations. The content was clear, evidence based and highly engaging. The session sparked meaningful conversations across our organisation. We received excellent feedback from attendees and would highly recommend their team for workplace education and wellbeing initiatives. We look forward to working with them in the future.

Wellbeing Rewards and Benefits Partner

The session you delivered was highly informative and engaging. It highlighted how lack of awareness of female hormones is dangerous to women’s health and has big consequences, not just for the woman but all who surrounds her. This should be shared far and wide.

In May 2020 I was diagnosed with PMDD. Due to my fear and feeling like I was a failure, I had ignored all the signs that something wasn’t quite right. I now run the PMDD Support Network to raise awareness and support others. Having PMDD can be a very lonely place at times and it’s great to know there are others out there who “get it.”

Case Management Team Lead, Head of PMDD Network

At National Care Group, our wellbeing approach is to support all our colleagues with information and support to be the best that they can be. With a predominantly female workforce, support for women’s health issues is integral to our strategy.

Through our partnership with Sarah, we have been able to deliver online colleague sessions on the menopause but also on broader topics of women’s health more generally. The latest session on Hormone Health and the impact on work was engaging and informative and well received by our colleagues.
